THIS IS A LIVE ONLINE WORKSHOP.
TIME: 10.30am BST
Please join the Zoom Waiting room at 10am BST, this allows plenty of time for me to assist you should you have any log in issues. After 10.30am, I will be delivering the workshop and it will be difficult to assist.
I will let everyone into the zoom meeting at approx 10.28am BST
The Workshop starts at 10.30am BST
The zoom waiting room is open for 30 minutes before the session to allow plenty of time for logging in.
It is advisable to log in at just after 10am, as once the workshop starts I will not be able to assist if you have any log in or password issues.
The session length will be approx 60 minutes but as the session is live it may last longer. This sometimes happens when the children are sharing and discussing the art that they have created at the end - as I am keen to give everyone a chance to speak and share.
If your child needs to leave the zoom meeting at 11.30am please let me know in advance, so that your child gets a chance to share before leaving. Your child will not miss anything by leaving at 11.30am.
Suggested age 5-11 years. There is flexibility around the age ranges.
This price is per household (via one device), not per child, so siblings can watch together for £7.97.
DISCUSSION & FEEDBACK
If they wish, during the session there will be plenty of opportunity for each child to ask questions, comment, discuss & show their art. There is no pressure to do this though. I recognise that not all children are comfortable doing so. If your child prefers to just watch and create that is fine. As the sessions are very inclusive and do not centre on perfection and 'copying' but on self-expression, I often find that children that are very shy at the beginning find the confidence to speak after just one or two workshops, giving them extreme confidence. You & your child can also choose to disable the video camera, if your child would prefer not to be visible on the zoom call.
I'm sure you will have everything you need at home, all that is required are;
- some sheets of plain paper.
- a pencil.
- something to colour with that is blendable; water colour pencils or paints or pastels or etc.
- a torch or light
- a CD or kaleidoscope.
