Initial Consultation: One-To-One Creative Mentoring for Children

  • £45.00

Does your child lack creative confidence?

Maybe your child finds it difficult to express their emotions?

One-to-One Creative Mentoring sessions are run by Julie Bevan;
Dot Kids Creator & Founder
Arts Educator
Creative Mentor
Educational Creative Consultant
I am fully DBS checked and hold an Enhanced Certificate.

The sessions can help lift creative blocks, increase confidence, encourage creative freedom & experimentation and enhance self-expression.

These sessions can be delivered in person at my studio in Whitstable, Kent or via zoom calls, so you do not need to live locally to take part.

For children aged 4 - 18 years old.

Book an initial consultation (one hour), so that myself and your child can get to know each other. During this session I can gauge which creative areas will best spark your child's passion and assess areas to concentrate on.

After this initial consultation, there is no commitment to sign up to the program.

Between each session I will create a creative program tailor made to meet your child's needs. The program will be fluid, as a child’s needs can fluctuate. It will include creative exercises, a selection of inspirational artists and art mediums appropriate to your child's needs and personality.

Areas that I also cover are creative confidence, creative freedom & experimentation. I can also focus on creative self-expression, as I strongly believe a child’s ability to express themselves and empathise with others impacts positively on their creativity and in other areas of life.

The program will also include suggestions of methods that can be implemented at home, book recommendations, resource materials, gallery and website lists.

The initial consultation is £45 and includes a PDF session overview including ideas on how the program will progress. The subsequent sessions (one hour) are £45 inclusive of the program. For each session there will be a PDF session overview, including suggestions on how your child can further their art practice between sessions. After the initial consultation there is  no commitment to sign up to the program. If you decide to proceed with the program, there is a minimum sign up of six sessions, which can be paid in advance or via direct debit.
