David Hockney Inspired Art Landscapes

David Hockney Inspired Art Landscapes

In this Online Art Workshop, the children discovered the landscape artworks of David Hockney. In particular, the large multi-canvas landscapes of Yorkshire, where he grew up.

The children really embraced the colours that Hockney uses. They were also fascinated by the zig-zaging pathways and roads in many of his landscapes. Some children interpreted this as a pathway to another dimension or a better world. I adore hearing and encouraging children's interpretation of art. The discussion was so joyful and enthusiastic.

Here are just some of the incredible art works created.

Please share with friends and relatives - at the bottom of the page, they can leave comments for the children !

If your child missed out on the Live Online David Hockney Landscapes Children's Workshop, don't despair - they can watch and enjoy the forthcoming On-Demand David Hockney Landscapes Online Workshop. As it is pre-recorded, your child can watch and pause at their leisure. It should keep your children engaged in creativity for approx one-three hours (dependent on age and concentration levels).

And it's just one price per family too!
