Building Creative Confidence & Growth Mindset
Alfie loves dot kids ... it is the perfect balance of giving him complete artistic freedom while introducing him to the wonderful array of the world’s artists and their work to inspire him!

My daughter has done a couple of Julie’s workshops and has absolutely loved them. They are so well thought through, calm, creative, considered. We always come in the holidays and are trying to manage the after school weekly workshops too. Just brilliant!

My daughter has attended several workshops and has also completed the online Frida Kahlo course and has loved them all. Julie is a wonderful, kind, calm and knowledgable teacher who has fired my daughter’s passion for art and continues to help build her confidence.

My 7 and 8 year old love these classes. They learn about the artist and come home with a piece to be proud of. It’s a calm relaxed atmosphere . It always inspires them when they come home to ditch the electronics and pick up their pens. Would recommend to anyone

We love Dot Kids!! My son started off saying he was rubbish and couldn’t draw and within weeks he was totally immersed/ engaged/happily drawing/sculpting and painting. Julie’s classes gave him more than just artistic inspiration- they gave him back his confidence that had been lacking for some time and really boosted him in so many ways and we are so grateful!

Arturo loves Dot kids. He is generally the kind of boy who prefers to be moving rather than sitting and drawing but I thought we’d give Julie’s class a go in half term for exactly this reason. He absolutely loved it....from Julie’s calm enthusiastic way, the calm classical music in the background and the freedom to do their own thing, (as instructed depending on the theme) to experiment and take pride in a great piece of work on a little canvas of their own.

Arturo couldn’t wait to go back in the summer holidays. We are now looking at booking after school club as an ‘experience’ present from the grandparents for Christmas.

My daughter loves attending Dot Kids workshops. The teacher has a true passion for her subject and this is projected through her workshops, making learning about an artist fun. My daughter used to get frustrated at home when she couldn't produce what was in her mind the perfect piece of artwork, by attending these workshops she has learnt that a mistake can make your art even more beautiful. She has created some lovely pieces that we display at home.
