Celebrating Success and Empowerment: Dot Kids Founder's Recognition at Kent Women in Business Awards 2024

I am thrilled to share with you all a moment of immense pride and gratitude as I reflect on the recent Kent Women in Business Awards 2024. As the founder of Dot Kids, Julie Bevan, I am overjoyed to have been named as the Runner Up in the Women In Education category and to have been recognised as a finalist in the Innovation category.

This recognition holds deep significance for me, not only as a validation of the hard work and dedication poured into Dot Kids, but also as a celebration of the values we hold dear within our community. The awards ceremony, held on International Women's Day, served as a poignant reminder of the power of female entrepreneurship and the impact we can make when we come together to uplift and support one another.

At Dot Kids, our mission is centred on confidence, celebrating uniqueness and fostering self-expression through the transformative power of art. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to empowering children of all abilities, nurturing their confidence, well-being and innate creativity.

As an Art & Mindset Educator, I am deeply passionate about creating a space where every child feels valued, heard and empowered to embrace their individuality. The Dot Kids Method is not just about colours on a canvas; it's about igniting a passion for creativity early on and sowing seeds of innovation and resilience in each child.

Receiving the Runner Up award for Women In Education and being acknowledged as a finalist in the Innovation category is a testament to Dot Kids and the unwavering support of our community. It inspires us to continue pushing boundaries, breaking stereotypes, and creating a future where every child feels empowered to boldly leave their mark on the world.

I am immensely grateful for this recognition and extend my heartfelt thanks to the Kent Women in Business Awards for providing a platform to celebrate the achievements of women in business. To all the incredible women who continue to inspire and uplift each other, thank you for being beacons of light in our journey towards empowerment and equality.

With gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead,

Julie Bevan
