Creating a More Inclusive Future: Why Dot Kids are Joining the Inclusive Accelerator Course

At Dot Kids, we believe every child deserves to feel represented and celebrated, regardless of their background, abilities, or needs. Inclusive practices have always been at the heart of our mission, and we are continually seeking ways to enhance our approach.

To further extend my knowledge and increase inclusion throughout the entire Dot Kids network, including our Art Franchisees. I have signed up for the Inclusive Accelerator Course—and I couldn’t be more excited to tell you all about it.

What is the Inclusive Accelerator Course?

This is a practical 4-week course (plus an implementation week) designed specifically for children’s activity providers and educators who want to make their sessions truly inclusive.

The course is run by two brilliant experts in the children’s activities space:

  • Nicole Bateman, also known as The Friendly SEND Advisor, who specialises in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). She offers expert guidance on practical adjustments that foster inclusivity and ensure every child’s needs are met.

  • Tamara Holland from Dot & Stripe, a marketing guru who helps providers and educators promote their inclusive sessions with confidence and clarity—so parents, carers, and the community can easily see your commitment to welcoming every child.

Why It Matters to Dot Kids

At Dot Kids, our goal isn’t simply to offer child-focused activities; we want to ensure each and every participant feels valued, safe, and able to thrive

By participating in the Inclusive Accelerator Course, we are deepening our understanding of how to tailor our sessions to cater to a wide range of learning styles, physical abilities, and emotional needs. This is more than just good practice - it’s essential to building a world where all children can flourish.

How This Course Strengthens Our Values

The Inclusive Accelerator Course will teach us how to:

  • Adjust our activities to be accessible and engaging for children with varying needs.

  • Communicate effectively with families and schools,  so they feel confident in our sessions.

  • Develop marketing strategies that clearly highlight our commitment to inclusivity.

  • Implement actionable steps so we can continuously improve and grow more inclusive over time.

If you’re a children’s activity provider or educator who’s passionate about inclusivity and keen to take your programmes to the next level, this course is an incredible opportunity.

You can find out more on Tamara’s Dot & Stripe website.
