We are seeing first-hand just how much demand there is for Dot Kids Art & Wellbeing Education in primary schools - and it’s a powerful sign of what children, families and schools are truly looking for right now.
Our Dot Kids Art Club at St Alphege School in Whitstable was fully booked in just a couple of hours. Within that same day, a waiting list of 24 children had already formed.
In response to this overwhelming demand, we introduced a second weekly Dot Kids Art Club at St Alphege School on Fridays. Even more telling? 50% of places were taken before the school had even emailed families.
This level of interest isn’t just about popularity. It reflects a growing need in schools for creative provision that supports children’s wellbeing, confidence and emotional development, alongside creativity.
Why Families and Schools Choose Dot Kids
At Dot Kids, art is never about outcomes, perfection or “getting it right”. Instead, our Art & Wellbeing Clubs are carefully designed to give children a safe, inclusive space where they can:
-
Build confidence through creative exploration
-
Express themselves freely, without pressure or comparison
-
Develop emotional literacy using art as a shared language
-
Feel safe, seen and valued for exactly who they are
Our approach supports children of all abilities and backgrounds, including those who may struggle with traditional classroom environments, anxiety, low confidence or emotional regulation.
Supporting Wellbeing Through Art in Schools
Dot Kids Art & Wellbeing Education sits at the intersection of art education and wellbeing, offering schools a meaningful way to support the whole child.
Our provision supports:
-
children’s mental health and wellbeing
-
confidence and self-esteem
-
emotional expression and resilience
-
inclusive, child-centred learning experiences
