Reflecting On The Year; Gratitude, Pride & Love

Posted by Julie Bevan on

Running a business can be hard and sometimes it’s easy to forget what you have achieved.

Reviewing the year is inevitable during this #betwixtmas period and I have found it really beneficial to sit back with pen & paper and really review each month. Patting myself on the back for each achievement no matter how small. It’s an exercise that always surprises me - so much happens in just 365 days. It brings with it gratitude, pride & love for achieving so much and for battling through the low points.

2018 has been a year of growth for both Dot Kids and for me personally... so much has developed and I’ve learnt so much.

I am stepping into 2019 excited for the next step which will see Dot Kids impacting on many more children beyond my little corner of the world...

Thank you to all the amazing children that have been involved this year. Your enquiring minds, insightful views and joy has made it all worth while...

Thank you also to the incredible parents who have supported me throughout the year...

Here’s to another amazing year of Dot Kids!

Dot Kids now provides After School Art Clubs, holiday workshops & courses, Margate Sunday Sessions, One-to-one Creative Mentoring and will be expanding next year into further areas around the UK...

Reduced price introductory sessions for After School Art Club (Whitstable) are booking now for the forthcoming term starting Weds 9th Jan:
