Dot Kids Expands into Broadstairs Through New Partnership with Upton Primary School

We are delighted to share some exciting news for Dot Kids, as we continue to grow and expand our reach across Kent and beyond.

🌟 Dot Kids are heading to Broadstairs!

We are thrilled to announce a new school partnership with Upton Primary School, marking another important step in the expansion of our art education and wellbeing programmes for primary schools.

From Term Five onwards, Dot Kids will be running our multi-award-winning weekly Art Inspiration Programme, designed to spark creativity, nurture emotional literacy, and give children meaningful opportunities for self-expression through high-quality, inclusive art experiences.

Why Art Education Matters More Than Ever

At Dot Kids, we believe that art is not simply about producing a finished piece of work. It is a powerful language that enables children to express who they are, explore how they feel, and make sense of the world around them.

In today’s fast-paced and often emotionally demanding world, creative wellbeing in schools is essential. Our programmes are designed to support:

  • Emotional regulation and emotional literacy in children

  • Confidence building and self-esteem in primary-aged pupils

  • Creativity, imagination, and independent thinking

  • Communication skills through visual expression

  • Mental health and wellbeing in education settings

By embedding therapeutic-inspired art experiences into schools, we help children develop skills that extend far beyond the art room and into everyday life.

What the Dot Kids Art Inspiration Programme Offers

Our weekly Art Inspiration Programme is carefully designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel free to explore, experiment, and express themselves without fear of judgement.

Through engaging, theme-based creative sessions, pupils will:

✨ Develop confidence in their own ideas and creativity
✨ Build emotional awareness and vocabulary
✨ Strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills
✨ Experience a calm, supportive creative space
✨ Feel a genuine sense of joy, pride, and belonging in their work

Each session is thoughtfully structured to support both artistic development and emotional wellbeing, making it an ideal enrichment opportunity for schools seeking to enhance their creative curriculum.

Supporting Schools Across Kent with Creative Wellbeing

It is always a privilege to work alongside schools who are deeply committed to the holistic development and wellbeing of their pupils.

This partnership with Upton Primary School in Broadstairs reflects a growing recognition of the importance of creative education, emotional wellbeing programmes, and expressive arts in primary schools.

Our approach is rooted in nearly two decades of experience in education, wellbeing, and creative practice, and we are proud to offer schools a unique model that places wellbeing and self-expression at the centre of learning.
