Get Ready for FAM EAST: A Celebration of Family Fun at Old Spitalfields Market

What to Expect at the FAM EAST Family Festival

This Easter, Old Spitalfields Market in London is set to come alive with the vibrant energy of FAM EAST, a three-day family social that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. From April 17th to 19th, families will gather to enjoy creative workshops, a pop-up market featuring some of the UK’s most exciting independents and makers, and an array of activities designed to delight visitors of all ages.

Creative Workshops for All Ages

Tackling the second week of the school holidays head on, FAM EAST will ensure that there is something for everyone. In the bustling workshop space, little ones can drop in for creative sessions tailored just for them, while older kids (ages 5-12) will have the chance to be dropped off for more engaging, hands-on activities. Even teenagers will find their niche, with workshops that cater to their interests and creativity.

 A Bustling Market Floor

The market floor will be a shopper’s paradise, featuring 30 stalls that showcase family-focused, independent, and brilliant brands. Parents and children alike will enjoy exploring the diverse offerings, which range from unique crafts to stylish accessories. Kids’ craft stations and face painting will add to the fun, making the market floor a lively hub of activity.

Fun on the Mezzanine

The Mezzanine level will be a haven for the festival’s youngest guests. A free play space will provide endless entertainment, while bookable workshops will offer structured creative outlets. Each day will conclude with the much-anticipated Market Mini Disco from 4-5pm, where kids can dance their hearts out in a festive, joyful atmosphere.
