I am incredibly proud to share that I’ve recently completed training as a Wellbeing Ambassador for MIND East Kent, in conjunction with Revival Food & Mood. This opportunity marks a significant step in my ongoing commitment to advocating for mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, and positive change across the education and community sectors.
At the heart of everything I do, is the unwavering belief that mental health matters. This training has further equipped me with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support others, initiate vital conversations, and amplify the message that wellbeing should be a priority, not a luxury.
What is a Wellbeing Ambassador?
A Wellbeing Ambassador is someone who champions mental health and emotional wellbeing within their community or sector. Through training and peer support, Ambassadors are empowered to:
-
Raise awareness of mental health issues
-
Challenge stigma and promote open, inclusive conversations
-
Share helpful resources and signpost support services
-
Encourage a more compassionate and wellbeing-focused culture
Being part of this movement alongside passionate changemakers is both inspiring and empowering.

Why Mental Health Advocacy Matters
Now, more than ever, we need to prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of ourselves and those around us.
Advocacy is not just about speaking up, it's about listening deeply, connecting meaningfully, and creating environments where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
It is initiatives like the Wellbeing Ambassador training that strengthen our collective ability to support mental health from the inside out.
Let’s keep the conversation going.
If you're passionate about mental health and want to become a Wellbeing Ambassador, please contact MIND East Kent or Revival for more information.
Together, we can normalise the conversation and create a future where wellbeing is woven into the fabric of everyday life.
